While there is no dress code, we respectfully ask that you bear in mind the elegance of the surroundings and the class of the music, and would ask that you dress appropriately.
Pollok House is open to the public until 5pm, and the recitals start at 5.30 pm. We would request that you arrive no earlier than 4.30pm, unless you are already a member of the National Trust for Scotland, and wish to explore the house prior to the concert. There will be a bar pre-concert and at the interval, run by NTS staff, but we respectfully ask that you do not take your drinks into the concert. Wine can also be ordered at these times to accompany your meal, helping to bring the evening to a friendly and pleasantly relaxed conclusion.
You will be assured of a warm welcome. Members range greatly in age. If you stay on for supper, you will be placed on a seating plan in tables of 4 – 12. If you come alone, the Secretary will make sure you are placed beside like-minded people. If you come as a group or to meet friends, please let the Secretary know you would like to be seated as a group.
