Past Performers - Ensembles
The Beaux Arts Trio
"Since its founding 50 years ago,
the Beaux Arts Trio has become the gold standard for
trios throughout the world."
The Washington Post
"During the past half century, one ensemble has been
preeminent–the Beaux Arts Trio, which, by any reckoning,
has to be the most robust piano trio of all time... Mr.
Hope plays with a finally tuned ardor of a young poet; Mr.
Meneses is the epitome of suave, manly discretion. As Mr.
Pressler enters his 50th year of the backbone of this
generation-crossing threesome, the Beaux Arts seems more
vital than ever."
The New York Observer
The Hermitage Trio
The Hermitage Trio is a London
based all Russian ensemble . An exciting new ‘star’
ensemble that was hailed after their début as
‘exquisite’…‘triumphant’…‘a master class of ensemble
playing’… ‘The Hermitage Trio is undoubtedly one of
the finest’.
This ensemble will do much to put more string trio
repertory on the musical map.

of the early Romantic French composer Georges Onslow;
Friedrich Gernsheim, a close friend of Brahms, and the
string quartets of Berthold Goldschmidt (1903-1996). One of
the quartet’s Onslow recordings was nominated for the
Cannes Classical Award and the Goldschmidt was awarded
the Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik.
