Benjamin Grosvenor Pianist

Benjamin made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2006, performing Ravel’s G major concerto to acclaim, while further international debuts followed in Brazil and the Czech Republic in the Chopin 2nd Concerto, with the latter performance drawing the headline “Genius sets a very high benchmark”, the review commenting that “all present knowledgeable of music knew they were hearing a kind of miracle”.

Alba Quartet String Quartet

The Alba Quartet is a young, vibrant Scottish-based ensemble, which is fast establishing itself as one of Scotland's premier quartets, playing alongside the Fejes and Edinburgh Quartets. They are off to China in 2009 as well as playing for us.

Ashley Wass is firmly established as one of the leading performers of his generation. Only the second British pianist in 20 years to reach the finals of the Leeds Piano Competition (2000), he is also the only British pianist to have won First Prize at the London International Piano Competition (1997). He appeared in the ‘Rising Stars’ series at the 2001 Ravinia Festival and is also a former BBC New Generation Artist.
